Welcome to Four Oaks Pool. By making a booking and/or using the facilities, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.


1. Bookings & Payments
• All bookings must be made in advance.
• A booking is only confirmed once full payment or an agreed deposit has been received.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking at our discretion.
• Prices may change at any time but will not affect confirmed bookings.

2. Cancellations & Refunds
• Cancellations must be made at least 24–48 hours in advance to be eligible for a refund or reschedule.
• Late cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable.
• Where we cancel a booking, you will be offered either:
• A full refund, or
• An alternative date
• Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

3. Use of Facilities
• The pool is provided for private hire only during the booked session.
• Access is restricted to the number of guests declared at the time of booking.
• We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove individuals for breach of these Terms.

4. Health & Safety
• All persons use the pool entirely at their own risk.
• You are responsible for ensuring that all members of your party are physically fit and able to swim safely.
• You must comply with all safety signage and instructions at all times.
• Prohibited behaviour includes (but is not limited to):
• Running
• Diving in unsafe areas
• Rough play
• We reserve the right to terminate any session immediately if unsafe behaviour is observed, with no refund given.

5. No Lifeguard Disclaimer
• No lifeguard is on duty at any time.
• By booking, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for the safety of all users in your group.

You must ensure either:
• A competent adult trained in pool rescue, first aid, and CPR is present and supervising at all times;

OR
• The following supervision rules are strictly adhered to:
• Children under 16 are directly supervised at all times
• A minimum ratio of 1 adult to 4 children (4:1) is maintained
• Supervising adults remain poolside with uninterrupted visual contact
• All users must sign a liability disclaimer prior to entering the pool.

6. Liability & Legal Responsibility
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Four Oaks Pool shall not be liable for:
• Injury, loss, or damage arising from use of the pool
• Loss or theft of personal belongings
• Accidents resulting from failure to follow safety instructions
• However, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
• Death or personal injury caused by negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Any liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law
• Our duties as occupiers are governed by the Occupiers’ Liability Act 1957 and Occupiers’ Liability Act 1984.

7. Damage to Property
• You (the person making the booking) are responsible for:
• Any damage caused by you or your guests
• The cost of repair or replacement
• We reserve the right to recover reasonable costs for any damage caused.

8. Hygiene & Conduct
• All users must:
• Maintain appropriate hygiene standards
• Avoid bringing glass items into the pool area
• Leave the premises in a clean and tidy condition
• Intoxicated persons are strictly prohibited from using the pool.

9. Parties & Group Bookings
• Must be agreed in advance.
• Additional conditions may apply.
• You are responsible for the behaviour and safety of all attendees.

10. Parking
• Parking is provided at the owner’s risk.
• We accept no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or contents.

11. Privacy & Data Protection
• We process personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and applicable UK GDPR principles.
• Your information is used only for:
• Booking management
• Communication
• We do not share your data with third parties without lawful basis or consent.

12. Safety Rules (Binding Conditions of Use)

The following rules are mandatory:
• No running, jumping, or diving
• No unsupervised children under 16
• Non-swimmers must not use the pool alone
• Follow all displayed safety instructions

Any breach will result in immediate termination of the session without refund.

13. Refusal of Entry

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person who:
• Breaches these Terms
• Acts in a dangerous or disruptive manner
• Appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs

14. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including (but not limited to):
• Severe weather
• Power outages
• Maintenance issues
• Government restrictions

• These Terms may be updated at any time.
• The version in force at the time of booking will apply.

16. Governing Law
• These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
• Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
